  1. Plan the Worldtree pilgrimage at Stillbark
    'The Worldtree falters. Walk the three groves and bring back its heart.'
  2. Sample the Stillbark Orchard
    The orchard groans. The roots reach deeper than they should.
  3. Read the Stillbark Obelisk
    The obelisk maps three anchors. Pinewrap. Highroot. Stillbark.
  4. Pack for the Pinewrap leg
    You bind saplings and cuttings. The grain still hums.
  5. Arrive at Pinewrap
    The clerk waves you on. The wilds wait.
  6. Forage the Pinewrap Wilds
    The wilds give willingly. The Worldtree is in every leaf.
  7. Carve the Pinewrap totem
    The wood splits clean. The totem holds.
  8. Stage for the Highroot ascent
    You roll the totem in cloth and start the climb.
  9. Arrive at Highroot
    The court is already gathered.
  10. Hunt the heart in the Highroot Grove
    A great shape moves through the trees.
  11. Brief the council at Highroot Court
    The council names the lizardman. They have hunted it before.
  12. Slay the Ancient Lizardman
  13. Retrieve the heart from the grove
    The grove is quiet again. The heart hums in your hands.
  14. Stage the descent
    You pack the heart for the long walk home.
  15. Pass through Pinewrap
    The clerk salutes. Word travels fast.
  16. Plant a sapling in the Wilds
    The wilds accept it. Smaller, but the same line.
  17. Pass through Pinewrap again
    The clerk waves you east. The heart is heavy.
  18. Arrive home at Stillbark
    The keeper waits at the door.
  19. Plant the heart in the Stillbark Orchard
    The orchard takes it. The groan eases.
  20. Read the obelisk again
    Three anchors. All quiet. The Worldtree holds.
  21. Report to the keeper
    'A clean season. Rest.'
