A boatwright's nets keep getting chewed. He swears the rat is the size of a dog.

Walkthrough

1. Find the boatwright at Wanderrest Bank
   'Nets shredded three nights running. I saw it once at dusk, low and long and not afraid of me. Bring me the head and I'll believe you.'
2. Sweep the lake shore for the rat
   The reeds along the shore are flattened in wide tracks. Not a normal rat run. You find the shred-pile under a half-sunk boat. It's bedding in there.
3. Kill the dire rat in its den
   It came out fast and low like he said. You took a bite on the boot for it. The thing's bigger than two normal rats stitched together. Head's intact.
4. Show the boatwright the head
   He drops his knife on the bench. 'Knew it. Wife said I was drunk. Nets are safe, you're paid, and I'm telling this story for ten years.'
