Veilbridge Mushroom Clearance

A savage mushroom under the veilbridge needs cutting down without fire near the arc.

Walkthrough

1. Take the clearance order at Veilbridge Bank
   'No fire near the arc. The bridge mistakes heat for a pulse and we lose a week of tuning. Cut it down with a blade or come back tomorrow.'
2. Approach the shore line under the bridge
   Spores hang thick over the shore line. You wet a cloth at the water's edge and tie it across your face. You can hear the mushroom breathing under the span.
3. Cut the savage mushroom down
   It came apart in three pieces and seeded the air with one last burst. You held the cloth and waited it out. The bridge didn't catch a single ember.
4. Confirm the fragment hasn't shifted
   Fragment ticks at its normal rate. The clearance didn't disturb the cycle. The scholars on station nod and don't ask how you did it.
5. Close the clearance at Veilbridge Bank
   'No fire, no spores in the arc. Clean work. Take the lamp and don't tell the apprentices what was under the bridge.'
