Walkthrough

1. Take the tuning order at Veilbridge Bank
   'The arc's off by a full step. Run the font for the base note, the conduit for the middle, and the arc for the high. Get them in line by tonight.'
2. Set the base note at the font
   Font hums true the first try. You mark the stone with the scholars' chalk and move on.
3. Match the middle note at the conduit
   Conduit needs three passes before it sits. The third one lands and the hum locks against the font's. Two notes down.
4. Tune the high note at the arc
   The arc fights you for an hour. When it finally drops into the third note, the whole bridge rings under your boots. The pulse holds.
5. Report the tuning at Veilbridge Bank
   'Three notes, one cycle. That's how it's supposed to sound. Don't let the scholars touch it for a week.'
