Walkthrough

1. Meet the cartographer at Timberchill Bank
   'Eastern ranges go under snow in six weeks. I've got two passes to confirm and one ridge unmarked. I need eyes and steady hands. You're both.'
2. Run the Timberchill expedition route
   The route runs three days hard. You mark two passable saddles and one collapse you wouldn't take a mule through. The ridge sits above the cloud line.
3. Gather route herbs at the Timberchill Patch
   The patch holds the cold-weather herbs the cartographer asked for. You cut enough to dress wounds for the spring crew.
4. Pack down at the Timberchill Yard
   You strip the pack, dry the maps over the yard brazier, and roll them tight. The wax holds the snow off through the night.
5. Deliver maps and notes to the cartographer
   She lays the three maps side by side and traces the ridge with a finger. 'You doubled my range and saved me a season. Take your pay and the cold-weather coat.'
