Stillport Lost Verse

A Stillport player forgot a verse mid-show. He needs the song run clean before the next bell.

Requirements

Meet the player at Stillport Bank
'Second verse fell out of my head halfway through. Pit went quiet, mother in the front row went red. Sing it with me before the bell.'
Warm up at the hearth
The hearth-room is empty at this hour. You run through the chord changes twice and find the verse on the third try, hidden under a half-step he had wrong.
Run the song at the theatre
The pit musicians come in clean. He sings the second verse like he never lost it and the house at the back lets out a held breath.
Settle up with the player
He counts coins onto the counter and shakes his head. 'You sang the line and let me keep the show. Take this and never tell my mother.'
