Walkthrough

1. Meet the invoker at Stillbark Bank
   'The obelisk's been silent four nights running. Nothing's broken on the stone, so the silence is the message. Go read it.'
2. Read the Stillbark Obelisk
   Your hand on the stone gets nothing back. Then, slow as a tide, the obelisk answers with a pulse so deep it sets your teeth ringing. It was listening, not sleeping.
3. Cross to the Stillbark Orchard
   The orchard rows are bowed inward, the trees angled toward the obelisk like ears. Something they share is pulling them both.
4. Check the Stillbark Sea line
   The waves run sideways for fifty yards near the shore, not in, not out. The same pull. Whatever it is, it sits offshore and listens.
5. Report to the invoker
   She writes the readings down twice. 'Offshore, deep, and old. We don't wake it. We just learn to listen back. You did good work.'
