Passers-by on the Stillbark road have been found turned to stone. The roadwarden wants the gorgon ended.

Walkthrough

1. Meet the roadwarden at Stillbark Bank
   'Four passers-by stoned on the south road this month. The last one was a merchant I've known twenty years. End her or we close the road for the season.'
2. Walk the south road past the orchard
   Three stoned passers-by along the orchard wall, all facing the same direction. The gorgon walks the road from the south at dusk. You wait.
3. Coat your blade at the obelisk
   The obelisk keeper rubs an oil onto your blade that smells like burnt sage. 'Cuts past the petrify on the first strike. You only get one. Don't waste it.'
4. Slay the savage gorgon
   Eyes closed, you took the first strike clean. The oil burned through her gaze before her scream finished. She fell with her snakes still moving.
5. Report to the roadwarden
   'Road stays open. The merchant's family will hear about it tonight. There's a chest in the back you've earned. Don't argue the size of it.'
