Snowthorn Caved Shaft

A miner is pinned in Snowthorn's vein. The crew needs the new seam scouted while they dig.

Walkthrough

1. Meet the foreman at Snowthorn Bank
   'Tunnel dropped on Garric. We'll have him out by dusk. Go down the vein and pull samples off the new seam so the day isn't a loss.'
2. Sample the new seam at the vein
   The seam runs darker than the old face. You knock off three palm-sized chunks and the rock keeps its shape in your hand. Good ore.
3. Check the deep shaft for water
   The shaft is dry past the second ladder. No flooding, no bad air. The foreman will sleep easier knowing the dig won't drown them out.
4. Report back to the foreman
   He weighs a sample in one hand and grins. 'Garric's breathing, the seam's iron, the shaft's dry. Worst day of the month just turned. Here.'
