Pebblehill's markers drifted in the spring rains. The surveyor wants the line walked and the marks reset.

Walkthrough

1. Meet the surveyor at Pebblehill Bank
   'Rains shifted half my markers. I need the survey line walked before the field claims start. Reset the stakes where the slope took them.'
2. Walk the survey line
   You find the first stake leaning, the second buried, the third still upright. The line wants to wander south by five paces. You straighten it with rope and a level.
3. Mark the boundary at the thicket
   The thicket end of the line is overgrown. You paint two trees, drive a fresh stake, and tie a strip of red so the survey crew can find it from the path.
4. Bring the notes to the surveyor
   He reads the offsets and grunts. 'Five paces south. Same every spring. Field claims will hold now. Take this, I owe you the walk back.'
