The Lastlight Vampire Dusk

A savage vampire has fed twice along the Lastlight coast. The watchmaster wants it ended at dusk.

Walkthrough

1. Meet the watchmaster at Lastlight Bank
   'Two coast fishers gone this week. Both at dusk, both with the same marks on the throat. Take it tonight. Don't let it feed a third time.'
2. Walk the coast at dusk
   The coast is empty except for one boat at anchor and one figure walking the sand barefoot. She turns when you're forty paces out and smiles like she knew you were coming.
3. Stop at the Lastlight Obelisk for silver
   The obelisk keeper hands you a silver-edged stake without question. 'Throat or heart. Both work. Don't try the heart if she's still got teeth in your shoulder.'
4. End the savage vampire
   She was faster than you expected and you were faster than she expected. Throat first, then the heart. She unmade herself with a long breath.
5. Burn the remains at the arc
   The arc takes what's left in one quiet pulse. No smoke, no scream. The arc keeper closes the lid and locks it. 'Nothing comes back from this.'
6. Return to the watchmaster
   He logs the kill, signs it twice, and slides the purse across. 'Three fishers spared. Two avenged. That's the work.'
