The Highroot court master needs a recital ready for visiting dignitaries by week's end.

Walkthrough

1. Meet the court master at Highroot Bank
   'Three dignitaries from the lowlands arrive Sunday. They've heard about our canopy songs. I won't have them leave thinking we're savages with lutes.'
2. Rehearse at the Highroot Court
   The court acoustics swallow the first verse and throw the second back twice. You learn where to stand and where to keep your voice down.
3. Borrow a verse from the grove keeper
   The grove keeper hums you a verse no court has ever heard. 'My mother taught me. You can borrow it. Bring it back the same way.'
4. Perform the full recital
   The dignitaries don't speak for thirty seconds after the final verse. Then one of them stands and weeps quietly. The court master signals the wine.
5. Collect payment from the court master
   He counts coins onto the table without looking up. 'They're staying another week. That verse you borrowed, return it. The grove keeper's owed a bottle.'
