The Strange Seam

A Gilshore prospector hit a seam that smelts wrong. He wants a second pair of eyes.

Walkthrough

1. Meet the prospector at the quarry
   'I've worked this quarry twelve years. This rock isn't copper, isn't tin, isn't iron. It's heavier than it should be. Pull a sample and tell me I'm not losing my eyes.'
2. Check the survey records
   The surveyor flips through three ledgers and stops. 'No claim on this seam. Nothing logged here since the old maps. You're cutting fresh ground.'
3. Test the sample at the anvil
   The smith puts the sample in the fire and watches it sit there. 'Won't take heat like ore should. Whatever this is, it's not in any book I own. Take it to a bigger forge.'
4. Bring the verdict back to the prospector
   'So I wasn't mad. Good. Smith says I need a bigger forge. Riverwatch keeps the old foundry records. Try them next.'
