A pilgrimage through five distinct stands, one forager's circuit.

Walkthrough

1. Start at Breakwood Grove
   An old forager hands you a folded map. 'Five stands, walked in order, take only what each one gives. Come back changed or don't come back.'
2. Walk Fernstead Thicket
   The thicket smells of wet fern and cold sap. You fill a bundle without picking the same bush twice. The path keeps thinning the deeper you go.
3. Walk Pebblehill Thicket
   Pebblehill's stand grows between two streams. You wade the smaller one and the bark on the far side comes off in clean strips. Better than any tool.
4. Walk Drypocket Thicket
   The thicket is half drought-burned. You take only the green stems and leave the rest for next year, less than the old forager wanted.
5. Close the path at Riverwatch
   The forager waits at the meadow's edge, looking at your bundle and not at you. 'You left some behind in Drypocket; that's the answer. You can go now.'
