Walkthrough

1. Meet the scholar at Drypocket Bank
   'Crystal lost half its glow between dusk and dawn. I don't know if it's drawn or drained. Stand on it and tell me which it feels like.'
2. Test the crystal in the field
   The crystal hums when you set a hand on it but the pull goes outward, not in. Something's been feeding off it through the night.
3. Refill from the font
   The font carries enough charge to top a dozen crystals. You channel a slow pour back through your hand and the dim spot warms under your palm.
4. Tell the scholar what you found
   She writes it down twice. 'Outward, not in. Something out there's learned to drink. I'll watch it tonight. Here, you saved me a week's notes.'
