Walkthrough

1. Take the judge's list at Farmhold
   The judge sets a list in front of you: five hearths, five dishes, one per town. 'I've eaten them all done badly. Now I want to see them done right.'
2. Plate the stew at Fernstead
   Fernstead's hearth wants long, low cooking. You give the stew three hours. The judge tastes it cold and writes one line you don't get to read.
3. Roast the bird at Giantkeep
   The hearth runs hot enough to crack stone. You sear the bird and pull it before the skin blackens. The judge takes a slice and nods at the leg.
4. Bake the flatbread at Duneridge
   Duneridge bakes its flatbread on a slab, not a pan. You salt the dough the way the locals do and the judge stops writing for a moment.
5. Serve the last dish at Battlefrost
   You serve a thin winter broth, no garnish. The judge eats the whole bowl, slides his list across with every dish checked and the last one underlined.
