Clans

Overview

Clans are groups of up to 5 players. Create or join a clan to share game events, chat privately, and compete on the clan hiscores leaderboard.

Creating a Clan

  • Open the Clan tab in the Group of Modals (or press the clan icon in the left tab bar)
  • Enter a unique clan name (1-24 characters, letters/numbers/spaces/hyphens)
  • Clan names cannot match any existing player name or clan name
  • The creator becomes the clan leader

Inviting Members

  • Only the clan leader can invite players
  • You can only invite players on your friends list
  • Invite from the Clan tab (type their name) or right-click a friend in chat/friends panel and select "Invite to Clan"
  • The invited player receives a prompt to accept or decline

Leaving & Leadership

  • Any member can leave a clan at any time
  • If the leader leaves, leadership automatically transfers to the longest-standing member
  • If the last member leaves, the clan is disbanded
  • The leader can kick members from the member list

Clan Chat

The Clan channel in the chatbox lets you type messages visible only to clan members. It also shows game events from your clanmates:

  • Level Ups, when a clan member levels up a skill
  • Pets, when a clan member receives a pet drop
  • Rare Drops, when a clan member gets a rare item from a mob
  • Deaths, when a clan member dies
  • Quests, when a clan member completes a quest
  • Tasks, when a clan member completes a skilling task
  • Unlocks, when a clan member unlocks a new item

Right-click the Clan filter button to toggle which categories you see. By default, task completions and quest steps are hidden for clan events.

Browse Clans

The Browse Clans tab shows all clans ranked by total level (the sum of all members' total levels). Click any clan to expand and see:

  • Clan summary (size, total level, total XP)
  • Member table (click to expand individual skill hiscores)
  • Side-by-side skill grids showing clan totals and each member's levels

Clan Hiscores

The Hiscores tab has a Players / Clans toggle at the top. In Clans mode:

  • Rankings show clans sorted by total level (sum of all members)
  • Per-skill rankings are also available (sum of members' levels in that skill)
  • Click a clan name to view its profile with member breakdown and skill totals
  • Click a member name to jump to their individual player hiscores
  • Search by clan name, search by rank, and "View Your Rank" all work in clan mode
